Brief: To create a cost effective document to accompany a clip-on Bluetooth adapter for the Palm personal organiser.
Solution: It was determined that all user/installers of this product would need access to a PC and so there was a clear case to use PDF online documentation. The PDF file could then be supplied with the product on a CD-ROM containing the installation software.
The A4 landscape form factor best suits the screen orientation when viewed online and it is also easy to print out. Good use was made of hyperlinking within the document to help the online reader locate and follow a series of sectional stages.
