Brief: To develop a concise, simplified yet useable guide to this sophisticated GPRS-equipped mbile phone with in-built camera, i-mode browser and email capabilities. Specifically, the guide had to avoid using screenshots to insulate it against last minute software changes and make it easier to adapt the product as a whole to multiple markets.

Solution: The guide provides the user with a medium level of information for the most commonly used features and a brief overview of the lesser features. Button and screen icons are used throughout to aid readability. The guide was originally written in English and then localised into French.
